I just wanted to take some time to introduce myself. My name is Daniella Gehman. I have been in love with photography since I was a little girl. I use to beg to play with my mom's film SLR (yes... I'm a child of the 80's :-P ). When I got into high school I took my first photography class were I learned how to roll my own film, develop, and to enlarge print. After I graduated from high school I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with my life, so I enrolled at Modesto Junior College. While I was looking through the course catalog I came across some photography classes, so I signed up. During my years at Modesto Junior College I was able to hone my skills in black and white photography and even learned how to color process color film. In the fall of 2013 I bought my first digital SLR. That was the moment that my business and passion collided. I started photographing people. Trying to capture a moment in time that they will never forget. In the spring of 2015 I graduated from Modesto Junior College with my AA in Photography. That was also the same year that I fell in love with wedding photography. I may have graduated, but I haven't forgotten my roots. That's why at most weddings I can be found with two cameras strapped around my neck. My digital SLR and my film SLR.
Being a wedding photographer has been a big passion of mine for the last four years. It has taken me to New York and Oregon. I am based out of Modesto CA. I mostly shoot all around the Central Valley. Including Manteca, Stocken, Lodi, Oakday, Sonora, Turlock Merced and the Bay Area. I also do portrait sessions. Anything from family and children, to maternity and senior photos. As well as events. Such as birthday parties and anniversaries.
